Please Pray for us in Orange Beach
Hurricane Ivan devasted Orange Beach & Gulf Shores. Part of the Flora Bama is standing and Joe says it will be up and running soon but Marty lost Panama Macs and his home. Live Bait took some minor damage and will reopen shortly but we have tons of folks without homes - we need your prayers!

I think of the Floridian folks often.....I'll put in a good word when I talk to the Big guy up stairs!

You are in our thoughts & prayers.
We have a few friends in P'cola, Gulf Breeze, Pace and Milton. I can not
beleive it!!
How are your bridges, and what about the Phoinix Buildings?
Do you know anything about the Perdido Oyster Bar on the inlet?
Thank -you.

Re: Please Pray for us in Orange Beach
The Phoenix's took lots of damage but they are built to handle it - after they clean up glass, etc it will be easy to build since the basic structure is still there. They say they will be up and running in a month. It is strange to see some buildings completely in shambles and the one right next to it with very little damage.
Not sure about the Oyster Bar - it was flooded pretty bad and sooooo many lost homes in that area (Perdido Key). The road is gone in some areas and they will not let you in unless you are zoned for that area.
We are still trying to clean up trees and major debris and it has been said it will take a year or longer before we are functioning fully. We still have so many without power and shelter. People are here from all over helping but it is still heartbreaking.
