Angry Tire Kickers

Why do I hate selling things so much.

I spoke to a guy on the phone. We went over everything. I told him do not waste my time or yours here is my bottom line price$$. He comes to my house I waste 2 hours with him and my car. Then he low balls me even more. I kicked him out of the garage and came on here to vent

Did he have cash in hand? Some FIRM prices can be softened with a handful of cash on the spot. I hate selling stuff too. A few months ago I was selling a 7 yr. old mini-van with over 100K miles. Some guy comes to look and he is pointing out every little thing that is wrong with it. I told him WTF, its a used $2500. van, take it or leave it.

It's just that we came to an agreement before hand and I wasted 2 hours with him.

I think it just goes with the territory. I had the same thing happen to me. I was going to go along with it but then I asked if he had money in his pocket to make a deal. Of course he didn't, so I said good- by. Hey, I like to get a good deal too. But if you are going to play that game you better have some money in the pocket.
