Default Opinions on this boat and price.....

I looked at this boat last weekend. I have spoke to a few "pros/brokers" in the business to get a educated price/offer on this boat. What is your guys opion on bravo steup and resale value. Plus any history on the boat.
The boat is real clean the owner takes good care of it. Stored it in doors in AZ. http://www.offshoreonly.com/esvon/page-8519.html

I talked to the owner last April, this was one of two boats he owns; both are for sale as he only wants one (either one he said). Might be a good time to buy, the boat is like new I am told.
Good luck it is a nice looking machine.

I know that boat was for sale in Maryland for awhile, looked at it once. It was a new boat, ended up in AZ.

He sold the other boat it was a 32 outboard skater. I looked at real hard, just wasnt the right time.

I would be scared of the bravos.

Very Clean Rig!!!Personally I don't think Skaters should leave the Factory with Bravos!!That said if you keep the power under 600 you should be fine.
Pros:
Bravos less HP used more at the prop
Lighter than #6 0r any other SS drive
Cheaper oil changes & props
Cons:
They will break in the rough!!
Resale less but your saving upfront for the same reason.
You will want more speed in a canopy 32' / More speed more
HP=== broken drives.
Harder to plan than 6s more slip at cruise speed.

That said if your happy with the speed looks to be a great buy
at the asking price or a good offer.

Andy which one you gonna buy ?

Big diff between bravos and 6's, Props, cost and efficency, I think the new bravo props are getting there.

I broke a bravo everytime I took my boat out, but that was before all the new stuff.

Bravos will be faster unless you use crashboxs and do some other mods to a 6 drive. It will also accelerate and handle better, Weight related.

Good luck.

I have ridden in that boat. It ran 118 w/5 people in it.....I was shocked!!! We were in calm water on a river but the boat rode extremely nice, turned well, got on plane good, I really liked the boat. I was hooked on Skaters because of that ride!!!

The owner (John) is a stand up guy-
I was very interested in this boat and checked it out - it is as clean and well taken care of as stated.
I feel the bravos might only be an issue in rough water- with lake use everything should be just fine.
It's worth the asking price !

Just as a note, the super cat light boats are getting the bravos to live in racing conditions. Just a thought.

Very true but boats with super charged engines build much more torque when leaving the water, and allot faster.I guess it comes down to your throttle man.
