I had a chance to run it tonight.

As I guessed, it is over propped. It wouldn't pull 'em past 5500
which was somewhere around 95mph.

I am going to look for a set of 4 blade cleavers in a 32 or 34 for my next run.

My gaurdian came on twice tonight at 5500rpm for a overheating sensor. This is a new issue. I assume it's because of the increased load the 34 Bravo's were putting on the motors.

My water pressure seems very low, usually around 5-7psi. Anybody with experience with 300XS's and water pressure? I am told 300x motors should never get under 15psi. 300XS the same? I may try lowering the motors a 1/4 inch.

I have a set of 300 XS on my 28 skater, and I am still struggling to get it propped right. As far as the guardian system, it will come on when water pressure hits below 12 psi, so try to keep 12-15 as a minimum. It will also beep at 6400 rpm, if RPMīs donīt drop within 5 seconds, the guardian will kick in and drop your rpmīs. The engines are well protected by the guardian system. I am running 34 X 14.5 3 blade labbed cleavers for a top speed of 107 mph at 6350 rpmīs but ocassionally hit the rev limiter. I have a set of 36 X 15 on the way to test.
During a high speed run, one of the compressors came apart (it seems that it was assembled without any loctite) and I am having it replaced under warranty. I hope to be testing next weekend again.
Nice looking boat you gotĄĄ good luck....

Not sure what you meant with your question regarding my gear case and water pressure. Might have been some confusion from a few different posts above.

Anyways, what water psi did you have prior to your dual pickups and what do you have now with them?

I run between 5-12PSI with motors at 120-130F but not sure if that is applicable to your boat with different cases?
I lowered the motors about a 1/4 inch today. Now I have 7-15psi. I have to re-test with another set of props to see if I lost any top end.

As of now, I am turning them out, but I will try turning them in and see if it improves the top end. I am at 1.5 inches above the sponson and have 15-20 psi of water pressure.
