If anyone is gonna be up on Lake Ontario or the St.Lawrence on one, I'd love to take a ride in one...I'd even pay for gas!
Well not sure what your budget is, and rest assure I am a Skater guy...however, a 07 35 fountain with 525's ran 103. I know its only a 33 foot boat, but whatever thats rolling with stock power in a V. Check out the 32/34 DW for sale heard it would run near 130 with 525's and #6's!!

Budget isn't a problem right now! My boathouse berth is, I can only fit a MAX 11ft beam 36ft boat in without having the backend stick out. I can't get a permit to build more b/c of terrible Canadian regulations on building close to the water. You can only get them for 10 - 15 ft back from the waterline...If I could build a new boathouse, I would build for 40 or above! My only other option would be to trailer it home every weekend and I live in Toronto, so a 2.5 hour drive with a monster on my tail isn't really what I'm looking for. I'm planning on retiring in a year and I will be seriously thinking about joining the poker run circuit. My wife how other, may have a southern coast beach house in mind

pffffff...women - You can't live with em, and you can't throw them out of the boat at 100mph!
