Thanks!
They really put a lot of thought into them and they are custom to my size. Dave at XT is my size so they used him as a template. They have great back support and more leg (thigh) room so sitting is much more comfortable. I used to have bruises all over my legs after a day on the water. In the pictures, they still had to do a little finish work around the back of the headrest. The best feature is the large Ohio State logo on the back of the headrest (pic to come).

Al at Skater cleaned everything out then "reglassed" with the latest and greatest resin that is said to be etanol-proof. The fuel wicked into the core material and it turned out to be a much more involved project than just the tanks. We had to replace a bit of core, glass and the better part of a bulkhead. We got lucky and were able to do minimal work.

Al did a great job and Peter and Chris did well for me in taking care of the issues and not letting the job get out of control..................... I'm happy that I got it over there to get it all fixed up and solid again.

We'll see what fuel gets thrown at us that will dissolve the new resin................................

Guess we will deal with that then.................

Thanks. We hope to get things together in the next couple of weeks. Motors are almost done. We had to add supplemental fuel pumps. Planning two Aeromotive 11212 pumps to support the mechanical pumps existing. I think I'll name the motors "Big Gulp Twins"..........This project keeps going and going...............................
Should have more pics soon...........................

It seems that ethanol is not only bad for the world's food supply(corn prices have skyrocketed) but also bad for the materials used in building boats.

Glad to know your issues weren't as bad as they could have been...
