Question about Skater 399...
I have a quest about the 399...
When you look at Nigel Hook`s "Lucas Oil", it has`nt the rear "hang-over" over the drives as "Spiderman" has...?
Can anyone tell me what difference this make and why they are like this???
I`m currently building a scale racer of a Skater from a German company called MHZ, and it has the "hang over" rear...
Right now I`m in the middle of cutting the rear or not, making it "Spiderman", "Rockstar" or "Lucas Oil"...
If anyone has good pics of any Skater 399 Super Vee, feel free to email me at [email protected] :-)

Here`s a picture of the same hull as mine. 100% carbon, 57,5" long. Very accurate to the actuall 399.:-)
Here`s a video of a German-built Skater: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOEQjPLdJMk
Just wish I could afford the "real thing"...
