Skater by FAR!!! Look at the resale of a 35Motion compared to a 36 Skater. The 35 Motion is about the size of 32A Skater.Look who wins more Races.....SKATER!!A motion is better compared to a Spectre

I have owned a 35 Motion. The 35 Motion is a basically a stretched and widened 32 Skater. The 35 Motion is a great boat, however the 36 Skater is a much larger deeper hull. The Skater is really no comparison to the Motion. The Skater build quality is better, resale value is better and rough water ability is much better. I am not knocking the Motion at all. I would not hesitate owning another 35. But you asked about the two compared. The 36 is a lot bigger boat when parked side by side with a 35 Motion. It will also cost more.

The 32a, Motion, and Spectre are all a little fine in the frontal area and are more prone to stuffing. The 36 Skater not only has a deeper tunnel, it also has more frontal area in the forward sponsons. For these reasons, the 36 Skater can run harder and faster in bigger water.
The motion's and Spectre's typically have 500 - 600 hp engines and run Bravo based drives, while the 36 Skater's typically have bigger power and 6's.
Now with that said. It's not really far to compare the Motion and Spectre to the 36 Skater since they aren't even close to being in the same $$$ ballpark. Comparing like condition and year, the 36 Skater will typically cost about 2 or 3 times as much...
