32 Skater Custom Paint By Scott Eller Design

Here are the latest pics , spent 5 hours running fine line tape into jams . Anyone who has done this type of paint will tell you when you run graphics into jam area is is almost impossible to get lines to look perfect from all viewing angles . We worked hard and to compllicate it further we will be painting underside of hatch and cooler doors to match top side
You have to invision over and under effect with drop shadow in that new Three stage 2011 Camaro Srnergy green outlined 1/4 inch in either bright Benz silver or another shade of green
My custom Billet hinges that I designed to have no exposed hardware will be painted yellow or silver

Thank you !!I'm what my friends would call a jack of all trades . I was in Auto resto for years , and now own and operate a small fabrication business . The bottom line is I want the big boy toys but never had money so I had to build what I needed . I manufacture Alt conversion kits and add on trim switches .

Finally moving forward , after several coats or surfacer the dash and console are painted . The dash and console are my design amd made in-house , the dash is 1/8 alum with alum studs welded to front to avoid any screws on front side . the dash will also have some green on it .
Been working on trailer getting it readyh for gavlanizing as well as 60 gal stainless steel washdown tank tha sits under sponson as well as new drive gaurd . Also made up stainless steeel fender steps because the orug were welded steel that for the record anywhere any wekded plate that has not been welded 360 degree rust is an issue . For example my trailer is 23 yr old amd rust free , but when I decided to trash the old leaf spring set up and move into the modern day I found that the leaf spring hangers that again are only welded on two side and looked perfect from outside hade indeed rusted through in center of hanger permiting water to enter frame rail . I was shocked to see this

I made a mold to layup console because my boat hade none and the stock Skater cosole are kind of dated , I wanted mine to match up to dash
The shifter arch is a one off , made a mold and layed one up with hidden stainless threads to avoid any visable fasteners
Holes on console are for storage

Grapic colors are the new Camaro Srnergy green ( 708S ) and Benz Silver ( 775) which is the brightest silver being used today on cars but still wasnt happy , had it mixed with larger flake and let me tell you in the sun its almost Chrome like. Decided to paint trailer that silver when it comes back from the galvanizer

Trailer update , installed rear Silver hair deflector ( drive gaurd ) Also my fenders were welded on and they were starting to rust around welded areas because of trapped water so I decided to cut off orig trailer steps and make a set from stainless that bolt on but that led to more work . Yes I wanted to bolt them on rail but just drilling hole would induce water so I had to weld in a sleeve . Also rear crash gaurd took me 2 days because I wanted the LED lights to be recessed including side marker then had it hot dippped galvanized
