That's what I would have u do. How wide is it from the deck to the inside sponson? Looks wide enough for a seat bracket and lowering the lid 2" square the bracket should be trivial.

I just checked out a side by side video. I'm not all that familiar with the deck over model but it looks like the seats are set further back. If I remember correctly the hulls are identical, the back of our seats are against the front of the tanks. You know the boat, well be finishing up soon. Hope this helps, take care.

mold is done, just need it to pop out in one piece and will be laying one up this weekend.

That is a ton of work !! What are you using for mold release , PVA or wax ? Polyester or Vinylester resin ?

Hi temp mold release wax, but also sprayed some fibrelease

If we all took a minute to email Peter at Skater and Aero Marine and advised them that there is considerable interest in a nice affordable winshield for the 28' it might help get things movin...Ok, I'll do it now. Skater Steve
