.

Congrats on the new boat. Looks huge for a 30!

Double-R, please send me the info to buy the shaft seals.

What happens if you don't have the special shaft seals? Does water intrusion occur in the lowers?

I had issues with water intrusion on mine before the mods. The gear case on a cat especially the optis get hot when running hard for extended time. The case builds pressure thus the catch tank on the shift shaft. Works just like the ones on stern drives. Keeps from pushing seals out. Once that happens when it cools it sucks in water. The wayne Taylor shaft seals have 4 seals to the one seal that is stock. I also had TNT here in s fl add a 3rd prop shaft seal. I change gear case oil about every 20 hours. No water issues. However I did snap a drive shaft on my L/H one.
I will ge
Noli I will get info tomorrow and post it.

Double Rigged, How did you get the "Skater" logo on the Garmin/ I have a Garmin GPSMAP 720. Is it possible it make that model display the logo?

Own an electronics company and we are a Garmin Dealer. It was a favor from one of the engineers. I do not think that it will work as the software was for the 5000 series units. I will however check just in case.
Sorry
