I had the same experience in 2011 at TNT when I first met JT, his wife, Matt and several others to include Jim Lee , Tyson and Tristan. Hope you got to meet Ralph if he is still around. He is a hoot! I blame Gary B for infecting me with the cat bug in 2003. I should have traded him my girlfriend for the DW! Congrats Sam! You deserve it!

Just pulling your chains! Boat went 109 with room to improve. The Garmin 7600 provides GPS data to the Vessel View 7. It was very generous with the top speed at 115.
106 at 6400 RPM is 7.23% prop slip
109 at 6600 RPM is 7.50% prop slip
So with 32" pitch if we maintain same slip and Max RPM 110-112 is not out of reach.

Moral of the story is even good epuipment lies! Don't believe everything you see here!

Goes to show everything is not always as it seems................
Like we talked also in a couple of months from now with some cooler temps you can add a couple more MPH also plus the prop work. You will be right there with Steve's boat IMO.
Also goes to show us guys with slow boats in S. FL are telling the truth that we are at a disadvantae when making speed runs.
