Congrats Sam, Thats totally awesome. The heat and humidity is a horsepower killer right now. Those are great numbers and I know there is more to come with some fiddling around and definitely some kinder weather. So happy for you. Steve.

Sam, I have no doubt that you will be running in the mid-teens when we finally get some fall weather in October. Have fun and be safe.

Today's bat run to empty tanks for winter. Two guys one hour at WFOT 80 gallons fuel 55* 54% humidity 32" Dewald's.

Cruised most at 108-109 and held 111 with 20 to 30 gallons on board. Stayed on rev limiters and need bigger props and more height on Jack plates but for being set up to haul ass in a poker run I'll take it all day.

That was the plan for the day. No Bayliners or party barges on the lake that day to drag us in so we hung in close toward the bitter end. Read zero when I hit the trailer and from past bad experience zero means zero!

Holy crap Sam, you burned 80 gallons in 87 miles? That's only 1.1mpg........I did better than that at the same speed (which was cruising) with my Sterlings. Glad to hear you put the motors through an endurance test and they passed!

Sam, Why are you quitting so early? Just kidding! How many other Skater owners drain their tanks for winter?
