We ran a good 150+ miles last Sunday with Rick Bowling and his son Ryan in his 28 Skater. Rick runs his 28 on the mat everywhere he goes, so we ran a constant 100-110 all day. I ran the 30 up to 140 once just because my one buddy had never been in it. The days of my running around at 150+ all the time are long gone, as I've realized through the years just how dangerous it is. Ryan put together this short video of the day. Hopefully next time we go out Rick and Ryan will be in the 37 Talon w/ 1,350s!

I met up with Rick where he launches - Pittsburg Marina. We planned on going to San Francisco for lunch, but the incoming wind was 20+ and with the ebbing tide going against it, there were 3'-4' close swells on the main channel. It would have been a rough ride for us in the 30, and a miserable ride for Rick in the 28 - so we decided to head up the Sacramento River instead. The video was taken on the Sac, up past Walnut Grove.
