what would be the final bill for this boat after swapping 300's with 400's. and what would it performance be like? http://www.powerboatlistings.com/view/8360

Despite it is probably not around anymore Ive heard people were quoted approx $80,000.00 for the new motors and rigging. Minus what you could get for the old motors. A guess but would probably run between 115 and 120mph depending on how much you are willing to spend on props.

if you are doing it yourself I think you are good. getting someone else to do it???... I broke some fillings clinching my teeth doing the math... I should probably call skate and make an appointment LOL.

Consulting with Skate on a Skater build would be like going to an "AA" meeting!??

he's no quitter, no AA for him... I experienced that first hand in KW last year.

No disrespect intended for Sam. I was referring to the fact that a guy that would cut up a perfectly good Skater and make it better may not be the guy to guide one on a budget Skater restoration.

None taken. BTW I've yet to see a "perfectly good" Skater....and the best is yet to come

As for the rest of you gentlemen before we start our twelve step program we must all admit we have a Skater problem. You go first!
