Default New to us 308 with XS

My wife and I just picked up our new to us 2008 308 with 300XS and LOVE it. We recently sold our 25' Eliminator Daytona and that was like a little toy compared to this killer ride. We had it out for a short run on Saturday and then a 60 mile cruise on Sunday. The boat sat for almost 2 years so Nice Pair pumped all of the old gas out of each tank, about 50 gallons per side, and we put fresh 91 mixed with some race gas along with Quik clean. We love the ride and the feel of a MUCH bigger boat. The boat and motors only had 25 hours on them. Big thanks to Dan Gatto for the huge help getting his friend to sell it to me. We knew after we rode in Rayzor's two Skaters we had to buy one and got completely lucky this one became available. Looking forward to learning the correct way to drive a twin and lots more seat time. We boat year round so it will not sit all winter.

Lake p.a.l.,
You must be a paying member to post pics here. This ones on me. These pics were stolen from S&F. I have no idea who stole them.

Congrats on the 308. Very nice. This is the place to get info.

Yep, that's it. Thanks for posting. Now I need to figure out how to be a paying member. Thanks again to Nice Pair and Rayzor thru this entire process.

Glad to see you over hear from the dark side! Great bunch of guys and a wealth of information. Good luck with the boat and i know you say you are happy how she runs but we have a sickness over hear and it is very contagious.

Congrats! My brother has the first 308 built. It was the one tested and featured in Powerboat magazine... (Jan '07 issue I think). Still has it, and it is one fun ride!

Enjoy!
