Default 28 skater windscreen by miffco

finally made my own screen for our 28s
as most know last yr had made a mold for 1 and had thermos company make me a couple and was not happy with their work
1 was junk and other was usable
so made another mold an outside version to make them myself
did lots of test trys and learned to where im happy with look
these are straight and nice undistorted in bends
hand made a different trim set up to make ease of install
and took trim to a machinest to make the next 1s from cnc
so took a while but finally a part I like,,,,,,,
so if any 1 wants 1 lmk
as im ordering a oversized sheet of clear for the next run
then smoked next
fully finished with no trimming/cutting needed fitted to hull
bottom of screen is beveled to fit flush to deck
trim finished out
and comes with all holes finished out and mounting hardware with instructions
no mods to hull,,,,,
simple few hrs to install
2,500.00 + shipping or can bring boat to my shop and I can install
tks for being patient been a hard 12 months lol

I recently bought Gregs 28 and it had one of you’re windshields already on it. It’s definitely very nice, but depending on your height I’d recommend clear vs smoke. I’m 5’10” and I put a throw cushion under the seat cushions and it’s perfect when on plane. No wake zones I have to really sit up straight if I’m not sitting on the armrest to begin with.

congrads on boat,,,its nice
urs was the 1st 1 piece a company made for me ,,,came out nice
but since then I have rigged up and making myself since wasn't happy with their work
bending and finishout and my own trim now so have gotten a few out and been happy with them
as stated on 1rst post,,,,,,,
some prefer tinted for the looks to match paint/int scheme
and set up seat height to look over top as wind deflection goes over ur head'
yes skater style seats with removable bottoms can always add blocking under seat cushion
before u put it back in place to raise ur seating height to match u driving position u want
ive made a run of clears for people wanting to sit low in boat and look through
all depends on what driving height u want/need
I run in 28s and a 40
and only 5'7" always sit on my knees in canals and docks,,,,,
not cause of screen but seating is low to see over tips,,,,as bow is higher idling
below is a pic of the 1s I making myself now he just installed last week in clear
u can always change it out t5o clear also if want

John, will this fit a 24 Skater? I could bring you the bare hull to do the install.

sorry it don't fit the 24
a few people have a template for the 24 and make it out of thinner acrylic so it just bends into place
if u still have ur original screen on boat a local acrylic shop can copy it and even make taller if want
shaun torrente used to make some may ck with him if still does STR RACING
