thanks for checking the height for me I think it will fit. Any idea what a 1999 promax 225 with less than 100 hours on it would be worth? looks like a nice 300 will run me around 11k I think Iam going to take the advice and look into a single 300.

Wildman" has a 2002 300X that is" in like new codition on S&F for 12,500. He may take the 225 on trade plus some $$$, but S&F is the best place to sell it. Just because it's mostly outboard stuff.

21' w/ twins won't handle? It sits to low? I have had two 21' w/ twins and one w/ a single. They are 2 totally different boats. The twin will run no doubt faster and because of having a counter turning motor will handle bigger speeds and chop. Here is a picture of the last 21' I had radaring 133mph at Alum Creek shootout in 2002 with 2 F1 race motors on it.

where these factory twins or did you rig them yourself? I wanted to put twin 225PM's on mine but evryone tells me to just put a 300 on it. whats your opinion

Did you add any transom knee's or bracing? I was told the factory twins had 5 transom knee's. anything special about setting up one with twins I should know?
