Would this work? Self-retracting boarding ladder, designed to retract up automatically, The spring-loaded mechanism eliminates the hassle of having to pull your boarding ladder up after every use. 14" x 21" Step White. I have one in stock - $230.00

I don't think that ladder pictured will be the best choice, it only has one rung which isn't much help unless you're a teenager. On my 26 I got a ladder thru Sonic which has 3 rungs I believe that slides out from under the swim platform and then telescopes down. Stainless steel tubes with vinyl pads on the rungs, push a button to release it, slide it back in and it locks. It's a very nice ladder. It's the same ladder Baja used (uses still?) under their tubular platforms. I think it's made by Windline, Sonic charged me around $175 5 years ago. You can probably special order it thru West Marine although I don't think it's in their catalog. Steve

I have this same ladder on my 31.Orderd it with the boat.I never use it.Wish I never wasted the money for what they wanted to put it on the boat. They locate the ladder over the port side lower unit.So weather the drives are up or down it rests on the lower unit.I have thought of moving it to the center so when you use it it will rest on the tie bar for the units but the exhast will be in the way under the platform.I allways step on my tabs when I get in the boat.

No ladder, step on the trim tab and grab the cleat. This way your getting on from one of the back corners and your feet are father from the props.

We just step on the tie bar and use the stern handle..... one less thing to clean around or leaving in the down position. Buddy did that, left it down and the drive took it out....
