Confused about drive toe

FWIW- if you are going to adjust toe make sure you do your test within a reasonable time frame!!!! VERY IMPORTANT!!! I'm a boating idiot but just saying- true test results need to be in controlled as much as you can conditions. Air temp, humidity, load on boat, water/waves, etc.
When I was squeaking every 10th out of my boat I would run a set of props, then try another set the next day and then back to the original set the next day and was unable to duplicate the 2 day prior results and so on. I thought I had the best set up in the world but then it ran like pooh the next day because it was humid and 10 degrees warmer.

That's how I have mine set, now. I measured at the center of the drive shafts and the center of the nose cones while in the neutral drive position(drives level with hull).
