Default Questions about 36 ss

I am from the mid west and we do not have alot of Sonics. I was looking at a 87 sonic 36ss and was wondering how the hulls held up. I was also wondering how the sonic handled in rougher water.

The biggest thing to look for is water intrusion. If it sat in the water there may be blisters, Also take a good look at the "firewall" in front of the engine for any deterioration, especially where it meets the hull. Have a survey done with a moisture meter reading . The hull is pretty heavy and not the fastest but extremely easy on the body in rough waters.

Pictures and engine package info would be great.

Thank you for the reply. The boat has 360 hours and was always trailered. It has twin 454's. I will probably fly out to look at the boat was curious due to the 8 foot beam if it was still stable on rougher water.
