Cabin door lid support

I'm not sure what its called, but does anyne know the manufacturer and part number for the black support arm that holds up the lid above the cabin door?

I think that the previous owner may have replaced mine with one that is slightly longer than it is supposed to be. It does not want to go all the way down and seems like it is too much stress on the hinge when I push it down flush.

Is it the one that screws down to keep it in the upright position or the pressurized piston style?

West Marine has a large assortment that can be ordered online

http://www.spdhardware.com

This is the place that sells the one that came with my 03.
Part# was spd-gs-4900-20
The 20 is the rating in pounds.I bought a 20 and a 30.I did put the 30 on but it was way to much. The rod assembly comes with the socket ends.I had to use the ball that was mounted with the old unit.I did end up using the old socket only because it seemed like a better set up.The old sockets on what I had treaded right on the new rod..I think they were like 15 bucks each.

Thanks Bob. We saw you too. The boat looks great!

Here's a pic of what's on there now. It stays up and seems newer, but won't close all the way flush.

Was the part number SPD-GSNI-4900-20 by any chance? Everything on there has something like spd-gsXX-4900-20 for a part number.
