Default Sonic 31 or 35 vs others

Im in the market for a boat, was wondering if any owners of 31s or 35s had any input, why they bought sonic over other brands, how they like them so far. Leaning towards a 35, like the look better. Also wondering about headroom, have seen 6' advertised, but i looked at a 97 35 and it definately did not have 6'.

I have had both, the 31 has a great cabin with the pull out bed for the mid cabin. The 358 ( 2001 and newer) has 6'2" at the entrance of the cabin and head quite a bit more room similar to the 38 with lots of storage more than any other manufacturer. The 358 has a 25 degree deadrise compared to the 31 with a 23 degree deadrise.
Both boats are awesome depending on were you using them.

I have a 02 31 sonic , had a 26 for a few years . unless you really need the taller cabin of the 35 than i would get a 31 boat is like a rocket ship on rails !! my cabin has every thing , ac, tv, frig, pump out head , the pull out for additional sleeping is great the 35 does'nt have it . with 496 ho's she runs 75mph gps! would'nt think of tradeing up to a 35 more than happy with it.

Three things sold me on the 31SS. 1) Great cabin with queen size pullout bed. 2) Awesome rough water handling. 3) The walk-around on deck.
