prowler questions

I have been looking for over a year, and this is BY FAR the best boat 26' and under (gotta stay 26' or - to keep slip or pay double what i pay now!). i have only seen 1 prowler in my area and havent been able to step aboard. Just have a couple ?'s
1) how much headroom is there in the cabin?
2) by the looks of 1 prowler i saw for sale, there seems to be inserts for an additional bed between the 2 couches. is this so? not pullout like the 28 or 31, but just some small inserts.
3) would a female comfortable in the enclosed bathroom...in my current boat, its, well, a MAJOR chore to even sit on the little stow away pupper.
4) 1 saw one that had A/C. is this common?
5) i love the anchor locker in the baja, no such thing on the sonic, where do you folks keep it?
6) how deep are the seats? (freeboard?) in my baja i can stand up to drive and basically from my chest up is over the windscreen, sat in an active thunder 31, and it was like being in a bunker! i think just my head was over the windscreen, it had a very deep feeling to it (i like it!) will it be deeper than my 232 baja?

ok i guess thats more than a couple...
thanks in advance, these are just a couple questions i had that have been bugging me.

1-I think 4 1/2'
2-cushoins between lounges were options
3-enclosed head is usable
4-AC is optional, not real common
5-The anchor locker is the only thing you will miss about the baja (I had 2 before sonic) I stow mine in a closet, on my 31 it fit under one of the cabin lounges
6-freeboard is much better than your 232, nearly as much as the AT you were on

cushion question was the main one, ive only seen one with the cushions, might be able to make something myself i suppose if i do pick up a prowler with no cushions...

i know this may vary, but how long is this thing on a trailer, want to make sure it will fit in the driveway, i think it will. ive got another 6ft or so left over from the baja.

Chain Runner,

I, too, looked long and hard before buying my Prowler, cause I wanted to find a really clean one, adn most people don't care for their boat same as I do. I was selling my 2000 Baja Boss 232, and guy who bought it said it was cleaner than new ones he was looking at!

Anyway, coming from same boat you are, I can tell you a few high points you'll love about the Sonic -

1) RIDE, RIDE, RIDE! The Prowler will take you thru rough water that would have you staying on the beach in the 232. Literally. Course, it weighs 3000 lbs more, too.

2) Cabin is so, so much bigger. I am 6' tall, and I can sit in the Sonic's benches upright. Plus, the enclosed head is awesome, rather than an open porta-potti in middle.

3) Walk-around hull. This is way more impressive than you think, esp at the docks. Once you've it, it's tough to go without.

4) Deeper cockpit, Far more secure feeling than the Baja, and you sit in it much higher, with better bolsters, too.

All told, you can look forward to a Prowler, I think you'll really love it, and it's so much more boat than the 232.

If you are still looking, mine is listed here for sale, as I am in a financial bind, need to move it. Only 106 hours. I'll listen to any offers, at this point.

Enjoy your move up!

Just wondering what are the speeds that a 26 does with lets say a stock 496 and how much do they weigh?
I have been looking for a nice 26ft that is a good riding and quick and people have suggested sonic
