Just goes to show the quality of the Sonic Brand ! Impressive amount of hours, and still looks to be in in pretty good shape, especially if it was salt water boat. Gotta love the Sonics........

I was looking through old pics of Crazy Greggs boat as we charted him a few times. Sure looks like the Crazy on the outside and the hours indicate it was a charter boat, but the cockpit, cabin colors are totally different and the dash colors are very different. It is possible someone changed out a lot of the items.

I read HO in the text and thought 425's. I see they are mags. 60 is probably right, especially with the arch.

That has to seem like 15 mph is anything less than 2-3 footers

You won't even spill a drink in 2-3's.

I had wondered if the ad had failed to include the decimal points in those hour readings. Can't imagine you could run that many without a rebuild or three.

I hope all the people that recommended tearing into a 496 at 3-400 hours are reading this. High performance stuff diff. story.
496 12-1500 or 2000? If cared for and not abused. Mine runs as good as when I bought it and is over 700. I would think they would want to mention it if they had been apart.

Talked to the current owner about this boat. It did belong to Crazy Greg. He stated both engines were replaced with Mecruiser long blocks at about 2000 hrs because one failed, but does not have paper work to prove it. He also purchased the boat to do "go fast charters" but with the price of fuel it proved to be un-profitable.

At this point he said $48k takes it home. Still high IMO
