It was never really a Sonic, just marketed under the same name when Mares Catamarans and Sonic were owned by the same person. I have not seen one in quite a few years.

It's a really big boat. If I had to say it was "like" something else, it would be like the very early Fountain/Scism Cats from way back.

There use to be one in Maryland at a dealership close to cobb island

yes it is an old Mares 38 great riding boat I have one we took in trade on a new 45 Mares
