Any 31 or 35 Sonic's owners in West Michigan?
So my 290 Powerquest burnt down in a building fire this winter were i was storing it and now just starting to look for what i want next for a new to me boat, i like many brands like Formula, AT, but realy like the Sonic's for overall versility, seems like a great overall powerboat with amenities kind of like the Powerquest brand was, but have never been on one or realy seen one up close and would kind of like to, so any Sonic owners in West Michigan? Seems like most are east cost or Florida. Also i do all my boating on lake Michigan, how do they handle the big waves?
thanks

They handle great.. I own an 03' 31ss with worked over 575's. The boat reacts like a 36' with all the goodies (air, heat, microwave, refer, lcd tv, dvd, ect.)... and is a 93+ mph boat.

Sorry to hear about your boat. We are on the other side of the lake and purchased a 1995 31SS last September. Like you, we wanted something which offered some comfort (was looking at the other brands you mentioned too) as well as be able to be out on Lake Michigan in 3-5' waves without taking a pounding. Got one trip up to Milwaukee in last fall, and it handled the 3' waves just fine on the way back home. This is our first twin engine boat and it really made me feel comfortable in those conditions. Once I am past the learning curve in this boat we plan to look for a newer one with modern power and amenities.
If you happen to find yourself on the other side of the lake, would be happy to let you poke around the boat. Its in drystack @ Northpoint in Winthrop Harbor, IL.
Good luck with your search.

Until last year, I kept my boats on Lake Ontario. I have had a 31 sonic and a 38. I would put them up against most anything in rough water. Great cabins for overnighting. When the water is big, 5'+, Sonics are fast.
