Great paint job.... Besides the notched transom change, is there any difference in the hulls of the 35 and the 358.... looks like it might be worth a trip to SUNNY florida for a detailed look.... if the boat doesn't pan out, at least you got out of this rediculous NorthEast monsoon weather!!!! I'd find out where all the work was done... it might have been done at the Sonic factory and they could give you some insight also.... Good luck!!!

The 31SS is a hot commodity right now and are tough to find. I'd jump on this one if you can, but make sure you get a good survey and sea trial.

I wanted a 31SS, but did buy a 1995 35SS and I am very pleased with it. Handles the big stuff great with that extra degree of deadrise and 3' of LOA.

Nice looking paint job ...just be careful what it is hiding.

How much of a difference is there between the 35ss and the 358?? Hull and cabin differences??? Notched transom, I can see the dash is different, recent 358's are lighter. What else?? I've never seen the cabin on a 35ss...

I think the 358 offers a full 6 feet of headroom in the cabin, but that's all I can tell you. I like the paint on the 35 SS! Steve

how is that bow cover held on? snaps under the rub rail? I wonder if it will stay put when the boat is being pulled down the hiway ay 70mph?

The 31ss is actually 30.5 feet and the 358 is 35'8", so it's more like 5' difference in the two. Correct me I'm wrong.... I noticed that the extra length virtually eminates the bow rise on take off compared to the 31'.... foot for foot, they both handle rough water beautifully.... I'd love to see the 31' stretched to a 32 and raised a bit to highten the cabin.... That would be ultimate... I love the 35 but still trying to convince myself of towing it and the extra cost of the boat and insurance.... Is it me or has the price on the 31's and 358's really gone up!!!! I want to stay around 100k and that seems hard if not impossible to do with either of them for new or a year old.... Nothing is going to happen until I sell my current boat anyway..... Finally nice weather here in the Northeast, heading out to the lake today!!!!
