A/C on 358
Anyone out there have a 358 or 386 with A/C installed? I'm trying to put it into my 358 and want to know if anyone has a photo of where they mounted the sea cock. Any photos would really help!! Thanks

The seacock is mounted in the engine compartment starboard side, in front of the engine, next to the center stringer. Then route the line up the starboard side to the head where the a/c unit is mounted.

Thunder,
Is there a "pad" or anything in this area? I've looked in the engine compartment and there appears to be a spot where the fiberglass is a bit thicker but it's more like in the center of the two stringers and not closer to the center stringer - could this be the spot? or does it really matter as long as its under the water?

If the spot you are talking about is accessible then use it. As always make sure to use 5200 to seal the seacock to the hull inside and out. Good luck and let me know if I can be of anymore assistance
