Just sold my 2002 35Ft Fountain Lightning with 575's intercooled. Recently moved to Houston from LA so I had to sell boat , camp etc.
I am back in the market if you know of a good Fountain Lightning. Had one in mind that was at Shoegrens and is now sold, but it was a 38.
When I sold it, I wasnt sure how big boating was here. Now I am wishing I hadn't. I am ready to get back into it, especially with all the poker runs and clubs.
I will be in a Baja with some friends of mine I met thru a poker run. They are from San Antonio. Come introduce yourself when you see us. I will be hard to miss. I will be the only guy on a Baja decked out in Fountain appearal.

Interesting a two stop poker run?? How does that work? Is it three card poker?? Do you get all cards from one stop? Is there a calcutta? Does everyone run together?
I know that is alot of questions. I am just curious how different these club runs are in comparison to what I am use too.
I am looking forward to this

they seem to change the card draw all the time. The last one I went to we drew 3 cards at the first stop, then two more at the last stop. I don't think I've ever made every stop, we usually wind up at devil's cove, then head over to the last stop. If you miss a stop, you just draw the rest of your cards at the end.

WTF! Does that course map say "35 MPH MAX" - "single file only"???
Driving 35 miles at 35 mph. One hour of boredom? Each way? That's crazy!
