Default Eagle Mountain Lake info

Hey I was wondering if anyone here is familiar with Eagle Mountain Lake in Texas and would be willing to share some info. I've seen a couple of pretty nice houses on the lake there and it looks like its a good size . How is it as far as high performance boating?
Thanks
-Tom

Tom, We are on Eagle Mtn. quite often and have several friends that live on the water and others that have slips there. It is our so called "home lake". Its a nice small lake with most of the surface area usable. There are several high performance boats based on the lake. There is room to make long runs. We are full of water and have a new pipeline in place to transfer water to maintain a hopefully "constant level"
There are at least 3 nice rest./bars on the water with a couple more that are mentionable. We have started a boat club based at Eagle called CowtownPowerboatAssoc. I think its a great lake with close proximity to Ft.Worth, and actually has waterfront homes in the city limits of Ft.Worth

Cool thanks for the info. Sounds like a really nice lake, and I like the close proximity to DFW. I'll have to keep looking into it.

Depends where you are on the lake. Time to FW can be thirty minutes to over an hour..............without traffic.
