Prays to the guys in Houston area.

Prayers out to the guys in Houston area who got their butts kicked by IKE. I keep seeing all the devastation on the news. Sad sights.

I hope some good fortune comes your way in the near future.

Thanks for the thoughts. The damage from the storm surge and wind is unbelievable. Many many houses and businesses are beyond repair. The owners of Kemah Boardwalk and restaurants on Galveston Seawall predict upwards of 50 million in damage, not counting 3000 jobs that have been lost. As for the boating here, it will be done for quite a while. All of the local boating haunts are gone. The debris and sunken boats in the water will take a long time to clear. Most of us living here have the perspective of our boats are toys, the important part is getting the lives, homes, and businesses back to normal andd that will take some time and hard work.
