of course thats for public boat ramps.
Plenty of private ramps are still the water and if you have a 4x4
you can launch at parks like Dink Pearson in Lago..
If you are an Austinite and dont want to drive to this side of the lake then yeah you might be screwed.

Is Lakeway's ramp still open? I launched my 32 there a couple of years ago when the water was very low. We are thinking about coming to the LTPA Carlos and Charlies poker run in July and staying at Lakeway. It was tight getting the 32, I have not seen it since they did some construction and don't know if you can get a 42 launched there.

We have 2 rooms reserved for the same weekend at Lakeway. I am wondering if we need to cancel with NO water. This Sucks !

Ill be on the run hopefully.
So far this year I only made the first one and the
party at Johnny Fins. Been blowing up motors since then.
We should have my engine done by next week.
Third times the charm !!LOL..
So far this year I killed a 502 and a 454,,
Alpha drive is still
going strong,aint that a *****..
This one is a 489" Tall deck former Mercury race engine
with Comp Xtreme marine cam ,HP500 heads,Hp500carb and Dart intake.Should do ok in my 21ft Chappy
Just look for the arch!!!

Dunno what kind of power this one will make.
The first 454 I blew up was 310hp
the 502 was 385hp
the last 454 was 365hp..
drive is 26 years old..
Simply amazing..

I am pulling my 28 out at Lakeway tomorrow -- and will report back the condition of the ramp.
Just last weekend I was asking the marina manager about the length of the ramp there, and she indicated it's quite long -- and should be OK. That said, there's already a lot of ramp showing (and a good sized pothole on one side near the bottom).
