at a 2ft drop a week..........who knows? They've been pushing rock off the end to extend the ramp. Going to be a crap shoot no matter where. however, they are on a good point and there may be a chance to launch off the shoreline, many boats were doing it

Emerald Bend will still be in water by then ,
many guys with big 4x4s are launching rigyht off the shore
in many places, I have even seen people using big 4x4
John Deere's to get the big boats in and out on the shore.
Where there is a will there is a way.
Over 50% of boats on the Poker runs are in slips on the lake
There are over 6500 private docks and marinas on Lake Travis.
Lack of boats wont be a an issue..

So how bad it is if we wanted to come down and watch the poker run this weekend? Any ramps open? I lanched at Highland Lake Marina last year and it was easy, but I can remember how low the lake was last July.

Mansfield boat ramp closes at 640.00 level is 639.99 right now. So last public ramp is now closed. If someone knows of an open ramp by the time you get there it may be closed. Lake is going down about 1/4' per day.
