Default Kemah and Clear Lake? Houston Area

I am relocating to Houston and want to find a good home for my 38KV Scarab. I would like rack storage and I hate launching the thing from a boat ramp by myself. I am looking at buying a 50Ft Cruiser to live aboard so something where I can have all my toys in one place would be great.

Any tips and suggestions appreciated!

Take a ride down NASA Parkway toward Clear Lake and Kemah, there are several marinas and some rack storage there.

Would like to see the KV when you move to Texas.
Would love to get pics of my boat next to that beast!

That's my plan! I have a home in Florida that I rented out until 11/2010 and I don't want to buy another home yet. I might rent a boat to live on-I have had a few offers, but I think I want to find a nice 40+Cruiser and use it as a live aboard and have the Scarab close to me. Currently it is in rack storage in Florida and I am in Memphis (Memphis SUCKS by the way!)

I will get you some pics!

Randy

Definitely run down Nasa Rd. 1 (also called "Nasa Parkway") towards Seabrook. There is rack storage at Endeavor Marina.

I would suggest calling Lakewood Yacht Service. My friend's family has owned that business over 40 years (his Grandpa started it) and they know everyone and everything about boating, storage, etc... in this area.

Tell 'em Kent Sims (friend of the Hefner's) gave you their information. They'll help you out. If they don't...get the person's name you talk to and PM me here.

I moved to the area, I have my 43' Portofino in Seabrook--moving the Scarab out soon-just want to review my options on where I can keep her.

Need a LIFT or Rack storage with GOOD rates.

No more fighting the jetski nazis at the boat ramp for me!
