Default Aquapalooza Lake Travis TX Success

The Aquapalooza event here at Travis was a great success. After just a short period of rain Friday mid afternoon, weather cleared up and stayed nice the rest of the time. Attendance was impressive (stats not yet out), and best of all, no major incidents. Great times were had by all. Would like to do this again.

Glad things went as planned. I heard expectations of up to 7 deaths/injuries were mentioned by local LEO....glad this was not the case!

Read on the Aquapalooza Facebook page that they estimated 7500 boats and 75000 people. It was a blast.

I friend of mine said he was telling a guy at the camp ground that the lake is a one way lake. The guy believed him since all he saw was lots of boats going up river.

That is from the website.

Yea was really cool except for all the d-bags on ski boats who were listening to their own music so loud you couldn't hear any bands playing until brad paisley came on, then they left. How are you going to come to a concert and jam your own music, unbelievable.

No doubt.....the entertainment on the ramp was probably close if not better than the concert. I would die for some video of it....lol.
