Default the first three LTPA runs of the season

Hi everyone,

The LTPA has set the schedules for the first three poker runs of the season.

On Saturday, April 30th, we will be meeting up with our friends at Lakeway Marina starting at 10am. This is always a great start of the day. Around noon, we will head out to Cafe Blue for a wonderful lunch stop on the Sandy Creek arm of Lake Travis. Once we have had our fill here, we’ll have run upriver to Angel Bay for a raft-off. We will end the day at Johnny Fins for the final card draw by 5:30pm.

On Saturday, May 21st, we will hold our annual South Austin Marine run. On this day, we will meet up at the ships store at the Briarcliff Marina starting at 10am. Around noon, we’ll make a short run down to the lazy river and pool bar of The Reserve, where we’ll enjoy a relaxing lunch stop. From The Reserve, we’re heading to a new stop for us. Down the Cypress Creek arm of the lake are the friendly folks at Riviera Marina. They are welcoming us to stop and hang out for a while. We will close the day at Carlos ‘n Charlie’s for the final card draw by 5:30pm.

We have already hinted about June. The run will support Maggie’s Hope benefiting autistic kids. All the proceeds from our June event will benefit this charity ttp://www.maggieshope.org/. The Friday (June 10th) evening before the run, Maggie’s Hope is having a gala that will include a silent auction. All may attend the Friday Gala for the cost of $125 per person. The location for the Gala will be The Grill at Rough Hollow. Saturday June 11th. , we will start early at 9:30am at The Grill at Rough Hollow. Around 11am, we’ll make our way to Carlos and Charlie’s for a bite to eat and mingle. By 1:30pm, we’ll head back to our friends at The Reverve, home of the lazy river float. After hanging out here for a couple of hours, we’ll gather again back at The Grill at Rough Hollow. Hands will be sold at this point. Each hand will be $100 and you can buy as many as you wish. First place will be $1,000 second $500 worst hand $250 you must draw all your cards by 6pm no exception. There will be food available for $10 at The Grill.

Please come join us. These runs will be a lot of fun and will benefit kids that need all the love you can give.
