Default Kentucky lake vs. Cumberland

How does kentucky lake compare to cumberland? I do most of my boating on the ohio around cincinnati and on lake cumberland. Doubt that I will be able to make it down there this year but just looking for some place different to try next year.

The roads to cumberland SUCK, but I love the lake. Both places are very reclusive from any form of society. I also hear of way more people hitting logs etc at KYL (me being one of them) since it is just a flooded man made valley. The water also usually stays much smaller in my experiences at Cumberland; KYL can get real froggy some days.
