Just leave a week or two early come with us. We'll be cruising thru Baton Rouge. You can join our caravan to FL.

So far we have 3 couples going. We're all booked with rooms & slips in Ft Lauderdale and on Bimini.

We have one more couple here on Lake Travis that will probably be going too.

Anyone else?

could this be done safely in a 29 or 30 Outlaw, or do you really need a 35+ boat for this trip?

I've personally done this trip in both a 30OL and a 35OL. When we did it back in 2006, I was in my 30OL. There were two 30OLs and a 342 on that trip. Last time I did it was in my 35OL in 2010. And, to be honest, there's really no difference in the ride between those two boats out in the open ocean. I really think any twin-engine go-fast V-bottom boat between 29' and probably 39' with an 8'6" beam would feel about the same.

Let me know if you want to make the trip. And, if you're looking for a 29-30OL, let me know that too!
