Default best boating around austin????

I am thinking of relocating to Austin Tx and have a profile 29 OS. Can anyone tell me what lakes are best for my boat since lake travis is so low right now?

Lake Travis still has plenty of water. Well over 100 ft in a lot of spots. A lot of ramps extended last year too. So get it while you can. Now August might be a different story.

Ed which ramps are best to use? Was Mansfield extended? What about Jonestown?
Thanks, Andy

Hey Andy! Both are closed! Mansfield is good till around 632 and lake is at 630.85. Not looking good again.

3rd ramp in Jonestown isn't good until 643 or so. and that's for a bass boat.

Highland Lakes Marina may be an option. They usually close to non-members in April but there may be an exception if you call. Paradise Cove may be persuaded, too.

I have my own dock, so I don't usually trailer. But, due to outdrive problems, I pulled it out last Friday night. I used the ramp in Lago Vista at the end of Emerald Rd. It's a very deep ramp. It's kinda windy and steep though.

We use lago vista as well. Our friends house is right on the same cove as the ramp.

Is lago vista a private deal?
