Anyone hanging around on Saturday or boating around as my better half & self might fly in. I have the car rental already booked. Not set stone a spur of the moment deal for us. If you need any small parts that I could put in the bag let me know as I can bring, if I have it on hand.
Just saying about breaking in new engines - no long periods of idle - really try to idle the engine as little as possible to non - (especially if you have a flat tappet motor) - no lugging the motor, vary engine rpm with no constant rpm running for long periods - usually no WOT for the first couple of hours of break in but if so short burst can fine as well. ( basically this all holds true as the usual rule of thumb for most engines - stock to mildly performanced)
Also a lot of this is determined by ring package used in the build , cylinder wall finish, engine clearances, internal parts used plus how good was the machine shop doing their prep work and machining. Anyways engine builders and others will have opinions all over the board as well. Just saying

foosdaddy, we don't run hard either.we always run with hors'n around 42 fountain and Tom's 40 baja.I think we are going to run to Kenny's house alittle earlier to get ahead of the crowd.I run in INXS but taking my own boat.
I am sure we will be at party on Thursday nite.My boat name is Visual Contact 36 baja.Maybe I can find you.

Hope the weather cooperates. At least don't rain on the tow down. Hate having a clean boat get covered in road grime.
