Thumbs up Demo ride in the new STATEMENT MARINE 42'

Holy WOW!!! I was at the docks at the St. Pete Grand Prix this past weekend. Saw the new STATEMENT MARINE 42' sitting at the dock, getting all this attention. I saw it at Poker Runs America the week before, and looked GOOD!!!

So in the middle of the day, I managed to be able to join in on a demo ride in Tampa Bay. Right from the start, I was like...WOW! The US Coast Guard wouldn't let us get up on plane until we got about 200 yds. off the Pier! Anyway, got up on plan quickly with 5 people on board and a full tank of fuel.

As we hit just over 100, I found myself talking casually with Nick Buis, driver, and was amazed at the smooth ride. This is the 1st and only boat with the patented cockpit cushion. Seriously, the entire cockpit was sitting on a suspension! Nothing like I've ever seen or felt before! Not only was the boat riding smooth, but the suspension actually made it that much of a better ride!

So as we started heading closer to its 137 MPH top speed, at about 125, I tell Nick (without headsets) that I am wowed by no chine walking. He had one hand on the wheel and one on the throttles. I had to laugh as he gives me the 'surfs up' signal from his steering hand. Yup...he let go of the steering wheel for about 5-6 seconds as we approached 128 MPH! And the boat did not nudge! I was floored!

Boat turned very nicely, and we headed back to the docks. Yup...with a permanent grin! I'm waiting for my next ride!!

Extremely well built boat, very stable and super modern looking! Great job guys! This is a tech masterpiece. And they said they gotta do a few more tweaks to it! Holy cow...you mean they're gonna make it even better!?!?!? Look out competition!!! I'll be on the STATEMENT!!

While practicing my new video editing skills, I put together this video on YouTube. Just something I messed around with...check it out at this link...

Cool Statement 42 Ultimate

Nice Video. the boat REALLY is amazing. I have been doing Vee bottoms for a LONG time and have not exoierienced anything quite like this boat. The boat just doesn't do anything wrong!. And the cockpit works far beyond our expectations. Having done 12-15 demo's in the boat to date, the response is always the same. Wow!
At first i was a bit sceptical that this would be just another boat with a new gimick. Now, I am not only thrilled but exctied for the future possibilities. As I am the worlds worst passenger... have been tossed out, broken up, and stuffed several times over the years, I can honestly say that I enjoyed riding in the boat almost as much as driving it.
If anyone is even thinking about a boat of this caliber, a demo ride Must be in the plan. They will not be disappointedand probably will quit shopping!
Thanks Mike for the great Video!

You can't bet a Statement!

I have been around high performance boats for a long time. My first go fast experience was a 1981 38 Excalibur. My father bought from Bill Farmer at the Miami Boat show seen below, and from there I was hooked. Since I had to grow in size and speed like most boat owners. Over the last couple of years I have been looking at different hull bottoms, steps, pads and transoms etc. I spoke with people I knew from the business and had come to the realization that a lot of boat builders in the chase for speed lost handling and stability. The Statement has changed all that. From the Bottom the ride that this hull provides is absolutely amazing. In 2-3 footers it cut thru easily and safely, at 127 mph you could relax and enjoy the ride. Then you look at the lines of the sides, no hull joint between the upper and lower, Supier strength. Moving to the interior, I thought I was looking into the Aston Martin DBS. Competition style seats with quilted Alcantera full leather, cross stitched beautiful. Now for the piece de la resistance. This is what separates Statement from all others. The entire leather cockpit interlinear in on an air bag suspension system. Now swallow that for a second. Remember that wave you hit wrong that day and it went all the way up your spin? Then all you passengers looked at you with grimaces on there faces as well? That day ends now! You can not only cut thru that wave with this hull you simply ride thought it with out even spilling your drink! They have added car like suspension to a beautiful go fast. What else is there? If you want the perfect poker runner or enjoy speed but not without giving up comfort Make your Statement! Get a Statement!
