We are in town visiting to.
Went on the jungle queen out of Ft Lauderdale. Thought it was going to be bad.
Actually was pretty good. Good all you can eat food, Ribs, chicken and shrimp(in evening cruise) You can see a bunch of huge mega yachts and nice houses, Not many speedboats though(saw one on a lift). The host does a good job narrating on the way to where the all you can eat spot is.

Water Taxi is fun. Its been a few years back but I think all day passes were 22.00. If you get a good captain they will tell you who lives where and owns which boat. Plenty of time to shoot pictures etc.

Go down to the hyatt pier 66 marina if you walk out to the fuel dock there is a decent bar and restaurant called Pelicans Landing upstairs that has a great view of the passing boats. Also the 15th street fisheries restaurant has a good view from the exact opposite side and you can hand feed giant tarpon.
