Default Anybody familiar with Lagrange, Georgia- have a 4 week assignment there

I am going to be working at a Plant as an environmental consultant for 4 weeks starting 11-24. Just curious about the town. I know its not a hot spot, but is it a typical southern town? Any tips= thanks everybody.

Just saw your post. Normally we would have a nice weather get a way from Mich to GA but this year we are getting cold temps like the northern states; yuk.
Plant in LaGrange, large? car? KIA?
Callaway Gardens has a Holiday lights drive through show that is pretty cool to see as well as other things there. THere is a lot of history in LaGrange if you like to check out the past. West Point Lake is there. Nice scenery and controlled by the Corps but has a lot of shallow area and best for fishing.
Atlanta is just one hour and 15 min away so Atlanta attractions can easily be on the list.
Too bad I didn't see this earlier. You could have come over for turkey day.

We are getting a little of our normal temps for most of this week. It has been unseasonably or is that unreasonably cold here for the past month so I am ready for our norm again.
