Default Things to do in Miami/ Lauderdale

Will be headed to Lauderdale the first week or two of January to pick up a boat. Would like to splash it and run it while im down there before heading back north. What are some good places to hit via boat around lauderdale?

DO NOT GO TO SHOOTERS ! It has been remodeled into a geriatric waiting room. Go to Bokamper's on the north side of the Oakland Park bridge in Lauderdale. Or come in the Pompano inlet and hit Houston's to the south or the Cove to the north. Both are only a few minute idle.

In Miami just cut to the chase and head to Bayside marina. Hooter's and several restaurants and shops with a great view of the port, AA Arena and downtown.

+1 on houstons or the cove! If u make it that far north u got to raft it in Boca lake! Enjoy love being on the water down there. If u stay in Lauderdale u got to stop at "la tub" its a cool little Burger place on south side. Send pi,vs were ever u end up going!

It won't melt I promise. I have a sbc with nearly 2000 hours on it. Flush it well and the trailer is big issue if it's painted. I would have it craned off, if you dunk a steel trailer you won't get it all with a hose.
