Everything about the 36 Spectre except mthe deck is an exact copy of a 36 Skater. Its a great boat but it is. Step placements, tunnel width, beam, tunnel height etc.

Where did you get your info from?? I got mine from Larry Goldman and Rolf from Pro Roc. The tunnel is much deeper on a 36 skater than a spectre. The hull itself is taller on a 36 Skater. The Skater has more steps and different ones. Rolf owned the 32 Skater that Motions were splashed off of. Call him and he'll tell you. Look at pics of each hull. There is like no similarities what so ever. The spectre's beam is 10'2" and the 36 Skater's is 10'.

I got it from my father. He is a skater and spectre dealer. He has gotten all of his information from either Pete or Jay

By looking at the two boats in pics, how can you honestly say that the bottoms are the same?? I will find this out for a fact.

The spectre looks just like a Motion not the skater. I suggest calling Pete or Jay again to see for a fact.

Im not saying the bottoms are exactly the same, im saying that the 36 Spectre has, different steps yes,but the steps it has are in the exact same spot as a 36 Skater. The Tunnel width is the same etc.
What ever it did come from (im pretty sure the skater) every boat mentioned in this thread kicks ass!

We must not be on the same boat here because if you look at the big steps in a 36 Sepctre and then a 36 Skater you will find that they are in the same spot. Im not talking about the little steps in between the big ones that the skater has. the spectre doesnt even have those.

It did come from a Skater, just a 32 classic that Motion copied then spectre. The steps are probably in the same place by the 36 is a stretched 32. The 36 spectre is a wider boat and has a more shallow tunnel. The spectre has the steps in the same place as a 35 motion wich I know for a fact and have comfirmed this with many people came from a 32 skater. Here's a 32 classic. The 36 Spectre is the exact same thing as the 35 Motion just wider. I have looked at both side by side. Inspite of all of this it seems every one copies Skater. I wonder why.
