Question for 1996 thru 2001 30' cat owners
Hello All!
Who do you insure you boats thru? I just got off the phone with Elton Porter and they say that they will not insure a 1996 spectre with 2.5's. Why not? What is difference between a 1996 thru 2001 and the 2002 and newer 30's?
Any help would be great!
Thanks
Don

I was talking to an underwriter from elton porter insurance and he told me that they would not insure 1996 thru 2001 30' spectre's (Thru Markel). I am just trying to find out why.

Re: Question for 1996 thru 2001 30' cat owners
I just bought a used 2000 Spectre 30 with twin 300 Promax's. Insure mine with Allstate as well. I know it's under $1000 for the year. I had to give them both of my homes though. I also have a little 16.5 Catalina sailboat with them.
