30 with outboards fuel mileage

30 with 300s what kind of mileage at cruise & wot? considering a switch to the dark side for
fuel mileage & reliability.

i had a 1998 30 with 2003 300x's...cruising at 45-4700 rpms was right about 78 mph i was burning approx 40 galls per hour. on the limiters 107 mph was about 75 gallons an hour...spinning 15x32 3 blade's

Banana

Cruising to nyc from long island is a 102 mile trip for me. With wife in boat ill cruise around 65 to 75mph. Boat used 50 gallons

Best I have heard with 300x's on a 28 Skater was 1.8-2.2 mpg at 75-80.
