We are a dealer for both Spectres and Skaters. Skater builds the best boat in the world, no doubt. But for the money the Spectre is one hell of a boat. My dad throttled a 36 to a national championship. Eliminator isnt in the same league with either of them.

i owned a Spectre...30 with 300x's and she ran a consistent 102-103...best ever of 107. In my opinion they are the best bang for the buck on the market. The skaters are gorgeous boats and run like an SOB for sure. Im personally not a fan of the unfinished look due to the epoxy lay-up BUT thats wy they run the numbers they do...lite and strong. Your best bet is to get out in a few of um and make your own decision....best of luck in your search. Either way you wont go wrong

If he was to have a problem, that is where "Customer Support" comes into place.

The 32' Spectre has a full bottom and that would make the Arneson an easy application and is really the best boat they "currently" make.

I have rode in a 32 spectre and the 30 eliminator and both are first class as far as i am concerned.Spectres fit and finish is far better than it has ever been.Eliminators fit and finish is and has always been the one to look up to.

Don't consider the eliminator to be similar to the Skater or Spectre. The Daytona has a pod and is not a true tunnel. It wont handle as well as a true tunnel. You say you are mostly considering outboards which will end up putting you in a Skater or Spectre anyway. If I was buying a west coast boat I would buy a DCB over the Eliminator hands down. It is a pod boat also but the fit and finish is phenominal. I recently toured both (DCB,Eliminator) factories.

2 300 3.0 Pro Maxes =??? mph?

running in the ocean I would lean towards the skater if possible. I think the spectre apeears to be the best bang for the buck. On a lake I would take a eliminator but they get pricey the bigger you go , but they do have a nice cabin area. Two of the fastest boats at the loto shoot out was skater and eliminator. The 33 eliminator that ran 154mph had a queen size bed and two couches. That would be cool if you could talk the wife into staying down there while you ran those numbers.

They suck offshore, good boats for a lake, no comparison to a real full tunnel cat.
