30 Spectre w/300s

Considering a 30' spectre with twin 300x's...

What kind of speeds would you expect from this setup?

Any known issues with these hulls?

Hows insurance rates??

Speed = prop size ,engine height, and how many blades?
2001/30/300x
My boat with 4 blades has gone from a 100 on its worst to a best of 107mph. 109-110 3 blades. Ive had my boat with no issues, hull is good rough water boat. I run the ocean and never been passed by another outboard powered cat if you get my drift. Dollar for dollar the 30 spectre is hard to beat. My insurance is 2264.00.And the outboards are nice on the wallet. Last year when gas was 5.50 a gallon it didnt keep me from using my boat, but my inboard friends had a hard time..

The boat should run in the 104-106 range, but as aim300x said, if you are willing to test props and engine heights there is more there.

mine (05 with windshield) went 100-104 depending on load and was conservative in terms of motor height. 20-23 psi water. 15x32 3 blades. awesome boat!

I had an 96 race layup that we made 1/4 canopies and with regular 300 promax ran at 100. I would say with x's 103-104 all day....By the way it was the funnest boat I ever owned...
